Tucked away from the bustling cars on Van Ness, Shima Sushi offers the solace of a dining oasis in the heart of San Francisco, with the familiarity of your "favorite" neighborhood sushi house near home.
Located in the Opera Plaza Building, two blocks north of Civic Center Plaza, our busy lunch hour plays host to the many employees of San Francisco's City Hall, State of California, and nearby Federal offices. Our dinner service caters to the patrons of performances at the adjacent Herbst Theatre, New Conservatory Theatre Center, Davies Symphony Hall, the War Memorial Opera House.
